I wonder why no piece of technology I own has ever outlived its suggested lifespan, unless I pump a whole lot of $$$ into fixing them (so that explains why this has been abandoned for a while…plus I had school and finals to deal with)
If it wasn’t for CD players and Pandora, I would’ve gone crazy without my music.
Other than that I’ve been enjoying these past few months.
They’ve been filled with good times and we’re all looking ahead.
At least I got a Polaroid of the best birthday I’ve had in years before they all become extinct.
I’ve also had the pleasure of being in San Francisco on the day that California announced its decision to legalize gay marriage! So many happy people finally getting what we all deserve, it was nice being around that…which just goes to say that this year’s SF Pride Parade will be insane and awesome.
Today’s also the day that Sex and The City opens in theaters. You know that every woman on earth is going to see it because it’s like…a duty to our female race or something. (I’m bringing my flask)
I’m going to be updating the galleries here…because I know I’ve been lacking in that region.
Alright, time to resume my duties of house sitting now!

Gave myself a couple months to get myself together and did the following:
Went to the Chinese New Year parade in celebration of the year of the Rat in downtown San Francisco because I was little homesick -
We also set up a show called Tricks and Gypsies, it was fun.
and then people came to see it! (thanks for coming!)
Adventure of the week: Point Reyes
It’s about time that spring came.

Last Friday (Oct 19th, 2007) I attended a protest against the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and got a chance to document the demonstration.
Here is a [link] to the article featuring some of the pictures I took…

*You can also see them as updates in the ‘Protests and Parades’ section of my photography
We marched through rain and traffic in the downtown financial district of San Francisco as a part of ‘Globalize This!‘ -
“The Mobilization for Global Justice is a Washington DC based group that works on issues of global economic and social justice and sustainability. We believe another world is possible and necessary. We envision a world free of corporate domination and crushing debt, particularly in communities of color. We act to expose and change the institutionalized violence wrought by international financial and trade institutions such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and World Trade Organization.”
You can click this [link] to visit their website and learn more about their mission statements and find out how you can help support the cause for the world we all live in

Things got a little neglected here at the Nancy Household…

I like Sarah’s tattoo because it can be colored differently everyday
I got to see the legendary Yeah Yeah Yeahs again, at the Fillmore this time -
Daft Punk is our favorite party soundtrack - it should be yours too.
